We wish you a relaxing and joyful holiday season! Lane Library will be closed during Stanford University’s Winter Closure, but our online resources are always accessible on our website. 

Winter Intersession

Winter Intersession hours will begin on Friday, December 15, and end on Wednesday, December 20.

Winter Closure Hours & Services

Lane Library will be closed Thursday, December 21 through Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

Please submit your Literature Search Service requests and DocXpress Document Delivery Service requests now so we can process them before the closure. We will be processing Literature Search Service and DocXpress Document Delivery Service requests until Friday, December 15. Any requests received after those deadlines will be processed after Winter Closure. The Medical History Center will also be closed, though online resources are available.

Urgent patient care requests will be processed during the closure.

We will be monitoring AskUs form submissions and DocXpress Document Delivery Service for urgent patient care requests. Requests will be checked daily, except on December 25 & 26 and January 1.
