Now Available: Request & Pickup Materials

Need access to print materials? Starting September 29th, Lane Library is launching a contactless materials pickup service. Any Stanford Medicine-affiliated users with full library privileges including all SHC and LPCH staff, can request print books from Lane Library’s on-site collection and select off-site locations, including course reserves materials with 14-day or 28-day loan periods.

Requesting and picking up materials is simple. To use this service:

1. Make sure you are registered for borrowing privileges with Lane Library
2. Request items through Lane Search using the Request button or our online catalog using the Request/Recall link
3. Receive a confirmation email when your materials are available and register for a pickup time. Pickup is available on Tuesdays and Thursday from 11:00am to 3:00pm
4. Pick up your materials outside the front entrance of Lane Library while following campus COVID-19 guidelines
