Hosted by Suzette Shipp, Life Science Technologist in the Lorry Lokey Stem Cell Research Building, this media-based discussion group aims to examine the structural racialized bias in medicine, medical research, and health care delivery. This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ by the Stanford University School of Medicine.

The book club’s final meeting starts at noon on September 18, 2020, with a discussion of short readings and videos on social justice and medicine. Register for the event.

We invite you to read, listen, engage, and learn. Please join us via Zoom, and we encourage you to participate via our Stanford Slack Workspace “antiracismbookclub” if you are unable to attend or want to keep the conversation going. Everyone is welcome to attend the final session, whether or not you were able to join our first two meetings. Please register through the antiracism book club website to receive Zoom meeting info. On the website, you can also access readings and videos from past meetings.
