Refworks is Updating to EndNote Fusion
If you use RefWorks to manage your research and citations, a rebrand is coming your way. Around October 6, 2026, RefWorks will be renamed EndNote Fusion, part of a long-term plan to bring EndNote and RefWorks together into one cloud-based platform. For your day-to-day work, the transition should be seamless: you’ll keep signing in with your existing account, and all your saved references, folders, and citation data will carry over untouched — you’ll just notice an updated look and feel. If you use RefWorks Citation Manager to cite while writing in Word or Google Docs, that add-in will also be renamed to EndNote Fusion, but your existing workflow is expected to continue working. Any RefWorks links you’ve bookmarked will automatically redirect. If you have questions about how this affects your research workflow, feel free to reach out to the library — we’re happy to help you navigate the change.
