Lane Medical Library recently entered a Read & Publish Agreement with Elsevier ScienceDirect to support open access publishing for current Stanford Medicine authors.
Under the terms of this unique agreement, 100% of the article processing charge (APC) cost is covered for current Stanford Medicine corresponding authors.
How It Works
- Eligibility: Current Stanford Medicine corresponding authors
- Journals: Included ScienceDirect, Cell Press & Freedom Collection hybrid titles
- Check Lane Library’s ChronosHub – for your journal
- Coverage: 100% of the open access APC, till the annual pool of APCs runs out. Applies to eligible articles accepted during the annual term
- Term: Articles with an original acceptance date between January 16, 2026 and December 31, 2028
- Eligible article types: Case reports, Data in Brief articles, Full-length articles, Micro-articles, original software publications, Practice guidelines, Protocols, Registered report articles, Registered report protocols, Replication studies, Review articles, short communications, short surveys, Video articles.
