New & Noteworthy Resources
Throughout 2025, Lane Library’s staff has been diligently acquiring and cataloging new resources to support the work of Stanford Medicine. We’ve launched new tools and publisher agreements that make it easier for Stanford authors to publish open access. We’ve also added new databases and ebooks to our collection, and we’re excited to share these with you!
Some 2025 highlights include:
Tools:
- ChronosHub: Stanford researchers can look up journals to publish their research in that offer a full or partial APC (Article Processing Charge) waiver.
Read & Publish Agreements:
- BMJ Read & Publish Agreement: Stanford Authors can publish without APCs (Article Processing Charges) in BMJ Journals Collection, any BMJ Gold OA Collection, and The BMJ.
Databases:
- SocIndex: Bibliographic database that covers topics on sociology with all sub-disciplines and closely related areas of study, including social structure, social work, socio-cultural anthropology, sociological history, sociological research, sociological theory, substance abuse, addictions, and violence.
