Holiday Hours

We wish you a relaxing and joyful holiday season! Lane Medical Library will be closed during Stanford University’s Winter Closure, but our online resources are always accessible on our website. 

Winter Intersession

Winter Intersession hours will begin on Monday, December 15, and end on Friday, December 19.

Winter Closure Hours & Services

Lane Medical Library will be closed Saturday, December 20, through Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Submit your Literature Search Service and DocXpress Document Delivery requests by Wednesday, December 17. Any requests received after December 17 will be processed after the winter closure.

Urgent patient care requests will be processed during the closure.

We will be monitoring AskUs form submissions, Report an Access Issue submission forms, and DocXpress Document Delivery Service for urgent patient care requests. Requests will be checked daily, except on December 24 & 25 and January 1.

Submit your exam prep account requests by Wednesday, December 17. Any requests received after December 17, including UWorld code requests, will be processed after the winter closure. 

The Medical History Center will be closed December 17- January 4, 2026.  Select materials are available via the Medical History Center’s online resources.
