National Nurses Month
National Nurses Week 2023 begins on Saturday, May 6, and runs through Friday, May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. During this week, we recognize the contributions of nurses and nursing to our community. For a brief history of National Nurses Week, see the American Nurses Association (ANA) website. The week-long celebration has expanded to the entire month of May to honor the varying roles of nurses and all the ways they make a difference in the communities they serve.
