Celebrate Women’s History Month with our Online Exhibit on Adelaide Brown

Learn more about one of the first women to graduate from Cooper Medical College (the school that later became Stanford Medicine) by exploring our online exhibit.

Adelaide Brown (1868-1939) received her MD degree in 1892. A public health advocate for California women, she had a lasting impact at Stanford and throughout the state. Her personal papers are available in the Medical History Center, located in Lane Medical Library.
