Every month, we are spotlighting an amazing member of our library staff. This month meet Jeff Codori, our Access Services Specialist.

What do I do at the library? 

These days I do all the physical stuff, from processing and scanning books and journals for interlibrary loan, to processing the books and journals for the book pick-up program. 

What do I like best about the people who use Lane Library? 

They’re all very friendly and well informed. 

What is the most rewarding (or favorite) part of my job? 

It gets me out of my dinky apartment and gives me an opportunity to move around and exercise. 

How long have I worked at Lane? 

Twenty years and change. 

What do I do in my spare time? 

Cabinet-maker, silent film enthusiast, author, bicyclist. 

Do I prefer… 

Coffee or tea? Neither, seltzer.

Cats or dogs? Dogs.

Candy or cake? Both if they’re chocolate, just shove it in my mouth.

Salty or sweet? Both.

Print or digital books? What’s a digital book?

Nonfiction or fiction? Both.

Summer or winter? Winter.
