Attend Gear Up for Research Communication 

August 12th – 13th | Zoom Webinar

We invite Stanford students, staff, and faculty to join us for this virtual symposium. At this event, individuals from across campus will share effective methods and unique ideas for communicating the meaning and impact of research. Topics will include: the importance of science communication, how to write a successful scientific research paper, creating an online portfolio, harnessing social media, podcasting for science, the art of science, and much more!

Participate in the Research Impact Challenge 

August 10th – 14th | Once-a-day emails

Receive a series of once-a-day emails with quick and easy activities to help you improve your scholarly presence. The Challenge includes short, easy, but impactful activities like: claiming your ORCID ID, sharing your data and research outputs, and self-archiving publications. Designed by the Lane Medical Library, these challenges prove useful for anyone performing scientific research.
